katzies...a questionnaire for adults...
1. What bill do you hate paying the most?
Student loan, because a lot of the time, I feel like I wasted two years of my life going to grad school, and I'm still paying for it.
2. Where was the last place you had a romantic dinner?
I don't have the slightest idea. We went out to dinner on our anniversary in October, but we were both exhausted from the movers, so it was hardly romantic.
3. Do you regret losing your virginity to who you lost it to?
No.
4. If you could go back and change one thing what would it be?
I would've majored in something more practical in college.
5. Name of your first grade teacher?
Wow...I have no idea. Mrs. Shadle comes to mind, but she was one of my elementary level teachers...I'm not sure she was my first grade teacher.
6. What do you really want to be doing right now?
sleeping
7. What did you want to be when you were growing up?
A dancer...a marine biologist...then a teacher put it into my head that I should be a writer, and it stuck.
Current career?
Working on that. Stay tuned.
8. How many colleges did you attend?
Three for undergrad - Columbus State Community College, Bowling Green State University, and Ohio State. Then I took 2 grad-level courses at OSU and enrolled at Miami University, where I stayed for 2 years to work on a masters that was never completed (see question #1).
9. Why did you choose the shirt that you have on right now?
It was $5 at Target. I liked it. And I put it on yesterday due to lack of clean clothes and slept in it last night.
10. What are your thoughts on gas prices?
Cheaper than what we paid in Europe, so I can't complain.
11. If you could move anywhere and take someone with you where would it be?
Well, I already lived in Europe, which was a long-time dream of mine. I kind of like being here. Although I would love to live somewhere warmer. And as long as Lance is with me, I'm okay living anywhere, really.
12. First thought when the alarm went off this morning?
We don't set the alarm on weekends.
13. Last thought before going to sleep last night?
I just felt sad. I watched A Knight's Tale, which is normally a happy movie. But it just made me sad.
14. Do you miss being a child?
Not particularly.
15. What is your favorite charity?
Anything having to do with animals. I used to be a regular contributer to the World Wildlife Fund. I also did charity walks for Multiple Sclerosis. I now care about any causes related to cancer, since cancer has been the reason why most people in my family have died.
16. What errand/chore do you despise?
Emptying the dishwasher, cleaning the floors.
17. If you didn't have to work, would you volunteer?
I did it before. I would do it again.
18. Get up early or sleep in?
Depends on if I have to work or not.
19. What is your favorite cartoon character?
I like Looney Tunes in general, although I think Pepe le Pew is my favorite. Probably because Lance used to do this hilarious imitation of him.
20. Favorite thing to do at night with a girl/guy?
Snuggle and watch TV (with Lance obviously). With my girlfriends, it's getting together to eat tasty food and talk about life, love and books.
21. Have you found real love yet?
I should hope so.
22. When did you first start feeling old?
When all my younger friends got married before me.
23. Do you have a special meal you can make?
I don't have any one thing I'm known for, no.
24. Your favorite lunch meat?
Depends on my mood. Generally it's turkey.
25. What do you do every time you go into Wal-Mart?
Cringe. I hate Wal-Mart. Fortunately, the nearest one is about 20 minutes away, and Target is closer and generally has what we need.

Either.
27. Do you think marriage is an outdated ritual?
Not for me, as I am married. But I think there are a lot of people who need to rethink what marriage means. (I agree withkatzies...a lot of people's ideas about marriage are outdated.)
28. Do you own property?
YES!
29. Favorite guilty pleasure?
Celebrity gossip. I hate myself for it. Also chocolate and Diet Coke.
30. Favorite movie you wouldn't want anyone to find out about?
I am not particularly ashamed of any of my movie preferences.
31. What's your drink?
Lots of green tea in the morning.
32. Cowboys or Indians?
Uh...neither? Although I have seen those ampitheater shows like Tecumseh and Blue Jacket, and there is a sexy man in a loincloth always in the lead role, so I would have to give advantage to the Indians (of course, there were no cowboys in these shows either). But if it's something like Brokeback Mountain, which features no Indians but two hot cowboys...I go with the cowboys. So overall, it's about even.
33. Cops or Robbers?
Geez. Cops. My dad was a cop.
34. Who from high school would you like to run in to?
Nobody in particular. I went to my 10 year and it was interesting...my 15 year is this year (if we're having one) and I don't really care to go.
35. What radio station is your car radio tuned to right now?

Neither...never watched a single episode of either show.
38. Worst relationship mistake that you wish you could take back?
Dating my first boyfriend.

At the temp job? She's nice enough...I don't really know her.
40. What famous person would you like to have dinner with?
Heath Ledger...because having dinner with him would mean that he was still with us. Famous person still living? Hmmm...I think Cate Blanchett would be very interesting to talk to.

Indoors in winter. Outdoors in summer.
42. Have you ever crashed your vehicle?
Yes. And it's painful to talk about it.

No.

The Boleyn Inheritance by Philippa Gregory (I haven't read anything recently).

A few...ones Lance gave me.

What kind of question is this? Hmmmm...in a covered wagon at Girl Scout camp (we slept in covered wagons...it was a different kind of camp with treehouses to sleep in and other unconventional things.)

Probably L.A. to visit my brother.
