I just watched the theatrical trailer for Sex and The City...OMG...I'm so excited. (The trailer is spoilery, so if you don't want to know what happens in the movie, skip it.)

Also, The Other Boleyn Girl is out today, so I may sneak off to see it this weekend if Lance needs some study time, since his promotion exam is next week. It'll be weird though. After watching The Tudors for the past week, I'm used to seeing the characters look a certain way, and of course there are totally different actors playing those characters in the movie.

Anyway...today is GORGEOUS! Spring is here! I mean, it's been here for awhile, but despite the channel 5 meteorologist's insistence that the weather is about to turn crappy (and he's been saying this for about 2 weeks now), it's just beautiful everyday. Sure, we've had some showers here and there, but not persistent ones. Today is partly sunny and in the mid-50's. I just took a fairly long walk that involved a long and gradual incline, so I really burned out my legs today (and my lungs...but hey, it's good cardio).

After lunch, I am headed off to the library and then to the grocery store. For some odd reason, I have this weird tendency toward barbecue chicken pizza for dinner tonight, so I have to get all the stuff to make that. Plus I have to get milk. And because I need new workout shoes, I am headed to Payless. I don't want to buy my workout shoes there, but considering I don't have a lot of disposable income, I don't have any choice. No major brand name athletic shoes for me for the time being.

As for the library, my reasons for going there are threefold: 1> Get a job application (they are collecting applications for Library Assistants, although it doesn't appear that there are any guaranteed openings right now), 2> Place a hold on books about copywriting, so I can start doing some research into the field and how to get into it without any experience, 3> look at their DVD selection.

Lance and I have to shop for a lawn mower this weekend. And if the weather continues to be nice, I have some weeding to do. We have a lot of flowers coming up now, and some of them have been around all winter (after all, it doesn't exactly get bitterly cold here or anything), so I need to pull up the weeds so the flowers look nice. Both the front and back gardens really need some TLC.

I realized in the shower just now that I managed to slice my left hand to ribbons, and I don't know how or when I did that. Weird. I have a bunch of tiny cuts all over my hand.
