Apr. 3rd, 2008 07:06 amTrying to quell my nerves this morning. Took my anti-anxiety meds that the doctor gave me for just such an occasion.
At least I slept pretty well last night. Needed a bit of assistance for that too. Otherwise, I would've tossed and turned all night.
Got up at 5:30, spent about half an hour or so doing pilates and weights. Leaving around 7:30 even though I don't have to be there until 8:30. I have no idea how bad traffic is going to be. And I'm only going about 10 miles, if that. Better to give myself extra time and get there early, methinks. I can always bring a book and read in the car until it's time to go in.
I'm only filling out paperwork and starting my classroom training today. I don't actually start working on the phones until about mid-May or so.
I think my anxiety mainly stems from the big change in my life...going from having endless amounts of time at my disposal to working a 40 hour work week is a pretty big change.
