prosodicI've gained 4 pounds since I started my job.
Too much eating out, too little going to the gym (although I've squeezed in workouts at 5:30 in the morning before I started getting ready for work).
I'm sure yesterday didn't help any, especially that patty melt and milkshake I had a Johnny Rockets. Most of the four pound gain on the scale this morning is probably bloat from that, I'm guessing.
So...healthy eating today. And eating IN...not out. And gym this evening. I am going to try and make the 5:45 spinning class. But if I can't do that, I'll workout on the elliptical until 6:30 and then do the half hour Dancers' Workout class.
Spring finally arrives here on Friday, and it just happens to coincide with casual day at work. So I'm going to dig out my capri pants and wear those. We don't have casual days every Friday, it's a privilege that has to be earned.
It's supposed to be almost 70 degrees on Friday and Saturday, so I need to get out and enjoy the weather. It's been way too gloomy, chilly and wet lately. It prompted one woman to say to me last night in passing, "what happened to this global warming thing we're supposed to be having?" Indeed.
