We went out to Petsmart this evening to get some things for Reece: a collar and lead, food and water dishes (and a plastic mat to put underneath), a doggie gate to keep her out of the office, and a crate. We will get more stuff on Saturday, and we need to find out what she's being fed right now so we can continue to give her that food.

Anyway, we were driving home from there, and we got rear-ended near where I work. There was a gas station right where it happened, so we pulled off into the station and the car that hit us followed us there. I was almost afraid that the driver would bolt.

So I made my first ever 911 call, and hopefully it will be the last. But information was exchanged, pics were taken with camera phones, and the police finally showed up. Everything is squared away, and Lance's Chevy Silverado is going to get a brand new custom dual-exhaust to replace the one damaged in the accident.

We're both fine. Just irritated at losing an hour of precious time. Lance wanted to spend the evening putting the crate together and then he has to pack. He leaves for OKC again tomorrow, but he'll only be there for a couple days, so he doesn't need to bring much.

We're fine. The kid that hit us has it worse than we do, although I don't think he was injured either.

I actually barely felt it. His truck is so huge that it would take an equally large truck to really feel the impact of something like this. We wouldn't have wanted to get rear-ended by a Hummer or something.
