prosodicA week ago at a friend's house, Reece acquired a gift: a stuffed Lobster squeaky toy.
She loves this thing so much that she ripped off both its claws within a week.
Today, whilst at Target I FOUND THE SAME CHEW TOY!!! YAY!!!
I bought 2. While Reece wasn't looking, Lance replaced the mutilated one with a new one. She is none the wiser.
I also bought her a Canada Goose squeak toy, and within an hour, she had both its feet half ripped off, so I finished the amputation with scissors.
Last night, I slept on the couch while she slept in her doggie bed. Lance tried it with her on Thursday night and it worked out well. She woke me up when she needed to go out. But she decided at 6 this morning that she wanted to play, so she jumped on my face and started chewing on my hair. I ended up crating her after that until Lance and I were both up at around 8 am.

I tried a new to me restaurant last night...Claim Jumper. It was really good. I didn't order an entree. I just ordered an appetizer - cheesy potato cakes - and they were huge. Definitely a meal in themselves. They were super delicious. I had a glass of wine and I ordered some English toffee pudding for dessert, which was the worst I had ever eaten. That's not to say it was bad, because it was actually quite tasty. But the Sticky Toffee Pudding I have had in England has been so much better.

We stopped getting them because while DJ will chew up a toy completely over days, it takes Zoe a very few hours, or minutes, depending on how tough the toy is, and we can't afford toys at that rate, anymore.
Fortunately, Zoe is happy to chew toys until they are a collection of threads, so we have a box of what we call "pelts," or already destroyed toys, that she chews on.
