prosodicWell, so much for the game getting rained out last night...Safeco field has a retractable roof. And since rain was in the forecast, they closed it.
Good thing too, because it POURED. And it still is.
But, the game did not go into extra innings. Sadly, the Twins lost. Lance was chagrined. We got some gentle ribbing from Mariners fans...all good-natured.
I got a free souvenir photo taken with the Mariners moose. I wasn't actually posing with him...they digitally add him to the photo. I have to wait up to 48 hours to see it online. If it's worth showing, I'll post it here.
Anyway, we were out and on the road by 10. I wasn't up too horribly late. Got between 5-6 hours of sleep, which is better than I thought I would get. And I'm awake enough now to get through my long day at work ahead. I just need some extra help from caffeine.
