I am lucky that I have a niece and nephew. Only two but one of each gender. I completely understand where you are coming from there.

Well, I have my step-nephew. He's still my nephew, you know? But he's not biologically related, so it's different somehow.

And I guess we should count niece & nephews-in-law but being that all of my nieces and nephews-in-law are MY age - It's definitely not the same ... hehe.
