Oct. 8th, 2008 06:01 amI think the gods of sleep must hate me. I got about 4 hours total last night when I could least afford to skimp on sleep.
I mean, I'm STILL not over whatever this illness is. It gets a little better everyday...at least until I get to work. And I think the air conditioning (which it appears we still have on) aggravates everything that much more. And I'm so exhausted. It's quarter-end week, which means a lot of tedious paperwork.
Around 2:30 last night, Reece decided to get me up. I thought she had to go out and go potty, but no...she decided that she wanted to eat her dinner that she had been neglecting. So she ate a little while I went to the bathroom, then I coaxed her outside, where she did her business. Then I got her back in the bedroom, but she decided it was play time.
So Lance got up with her and went into the living room. She finished eating and he got her calmed down and then they came back into the bedroom about an hour or so later.
And then Lance, who had been quiet all night, started to snore.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!
So I'm awake. And I have this unnatural kind of energy that comes from being overly tired and overly stressed. My nerves are shot and I feel jumpy. And my stomach is bothering me, but that's also from nerves. I work half a day today, but it'll be a very busy half day.
By the time I get home from work, the dishwasher should nearly be installed. They are coming between 11 and 1. Lance gets to stay home today.
I don't have to wash another dish by hand again anytime soon.
