Lance came and picked me up at lunch and we went to Nick & Willy's.

I ordered the Mediterranean pizza, which was olive oil, artichoke hearts, spinach, tomatoes, feta cheese and mozzarella. Lots of veggies.

Oh...and garlic. There was garlic. Because I think that's what got me. I felt like crud the rest of the day.

Then I came home and had 3 meatballs, with mashed potatoes, peas and fried onions on the side.

And as much as I love onions, they don't really love me.

So my stomach took a beating today.

But hey, that food was good.

I got some stuff accomplished today. It's nasty and rainy outside, so there is little else to do. I got some vacuuming done. I took care of some other odds and ends.

I thought I was going to the dentist on Wednesday night, but they rescheduled for next week. So I guess I'll be home to watch the debates. I'm very happy about that. I get so sucked into all the election stuff this time of year, even though I hate all the mudslinging.

I have been so hooked on artichokes as pizza topping. Who knew I'd ever like those! I wonder how else one can eat them, maybe in a casserole?

I like them tossed with pasta, in Greek dishes (I made this slow cooker Greek dish once with turkey meatballs, potatoes and artichoke hearts with a lemon sauce), and they're good in artichoke dip.

I'd be worried that they'd get too mushy in a casserole.
