prosodicI am dyeing my hair this weekend. It's been a few years since I've done that. I still have blond highlights from June, which have grown out considerably (but my hair is light anyway, so it's not like I have serious roots). So I want to get rid of the highlights. So...as of this weekend, I'll be a redhead again.
Think red will go better with my Halloween costume anyway.
We had a potluck at work today. LOTS of good food. LOTS. We have some true gourmands in our group, although Sondra was the one who really supplied all the top-notch eats. European cheeses, chorizo, crusty bread, Swiss chocolate, homemade cranberry sauce (I made her give me the recipe). Everything was really good, and a new client (a bakery) came by to drop off boxes of wedding cake slices, so we passed those around for dessert. There were assorted wedding cake flavors - I picked tiramisu cake with a tiramisu cream filling and buttercream fondant icing. Holy freaking crap. It was amazing.
I ate way too much fattening and sugary stuff today. Whatever. I don't even care.
Tomorrow after work, Sigga is taking me shopping for components to put together a pirate costume. Yaaaaaarrrrr! We all decided to come up with pirate names. Next Friday, I shall be Cutthroat Karyn.
