A Long Sunday Walk

prosodicWe had a dry spell this afternoon, wonder of wonders. I was actually getting around to taking Reece for a walk, when Farlis texted me to ask me what I was doing.
So I told her I was getting ready for a walk, and she suggested we meet up. So we met at the Green River Trail at Riverbend Golf Course. That's our usual walking spot.
It drizzled on and off, but overall, the weather was fine. We walked for an hour and a half.
It was hilarious, because her little tiny dog was being so protective of Reece. People kept stopping us to pet Reece and chitchat, and Farlis's dog would bark at anyone who touched Reece. He acts like he's so big and tough, and Reece would merely have to swipe at him with her paw and she could send him flying. So I think it's hilarious that he was trying to defend her. Farlis and I got a good laugh out of that.
We're now home, and Reece is curled up on the couch. Hopefully she's done for the day. I still have housework to do. Lance is now in Salt Lake City.
My stomach is bothering me...I think it was the french onion soup I ate for lunch. So I'm not sure what I'll eat for dinner. Generally, when I feel like this, I just end up having cereal. But I ate cereal for breakfast and lunch yesterday and had cereal again this morning.
