prosodicIt was ridiculous trying to get to work today. Our neighborhood hasn't been touched by a snow plow or a salt truck, so the streets are basically one huge sheet of ice. It was that way until I got to the main road in town.
But I made it to work. And there was a St. Nicholas surprise on my desk. One of my shoes was filled with chocolates and little trinkets.
And I ran off to the break room to make some tea, and when I got back, the gift from my Secret Santa was on my desk. (That was unrelated to the St. Nicholas thing.)
My Secret Santa gave me some peppermint hot cocoa mix. With marshmallows. YUM! I'm getting ready to go make some now to have with my cookies.
And Teresa is back at work! I'm so so happy to see her. I missed her so much.
Today has been a bit crazy, but not bad...for a Monday.
