Writers' Rooms
Dec. 31st, 2008 06:57 amI just discovered this:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/series/writersrooms
Of course, I am more interested in the rooms of Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, Charles Dickens, etc., and they are featured in this series too. Most of these contemporary authors are people I've never heard of, but I'm fascinated to get a glimpse of their spaces, where creation lives.
Of course, I do not, as Virginia Woolf says, have a room of my own. My current writing space is on the couch, with my laptop in my lap, with a black dog often curled up next to me.
