So I put in disc 2 of The Tudors and held my breath...

...it did EXACTLY the same thing as the last disc.

But somehow, it works just fine on our computers. Lance played it on his...no problems. I tried it on mine...again, no problems.

And it was only just the first episode on disc 2. Once I watched that on my computer, I came out to the living room to watch the 2nd episode on disc 2 on the DVD player. Absolutely no problems.

What the hell?

It's too much trouble to return this one, so I suppose I'll keep it. I just don't understand why that one particular episode is so effed up on the DVD player. I was thinking of getting a new DVD player for our bedroom anyway (a cheapo one) so that I have the option of watching movies while Lance is watching sports. Hopefully the disc will work on a different DVD player.

Matt bought a CD once that had several tracks that skipped or just didn't play. He replaced it at least twice, and had the same problems with the new discs. I'm thinking maybe large batches of discs are damaged sometimes.

Ahh, I'd forgotten about this, which is why I hadn't commented previously. I think they're all like that. Mine was screwed up, too. I had to download the ep to view it in entirety. Go figure.
