I already broke one of my New Year's resolutions, which was to write in my paper journal, even if it was only a sentence, every single day.

I totally forgot to do it yesterday. I suck.

Oh well. In the whole grand scheme of things, it's not THAT big of a deal. It's not like it's a huge resolution that has some sort of profound impact on my life or something.

I'll just have to try and remember to do it from now on.

Also, one of my other writing resolutions is to write one snail mail letter per month (at least). Who shall be the lucky recipient in January?

I started taking down the Christmas decorations last night. Reece is seriously displeased. We just need to remember to change the ring tone on our landline phones. Right now, they all play "Jingle Bells." I don't want there to be one scrap of Christmas left in this house by this evening. I'm ready to move on with my life.

You're right. It should be you. I was actually thinking that.

I shared some of the stuff you sent with my co-workers. They really enjoyed it, even though I had to keep explaining what it was. Hehehe. The cookies are now gone, but I still have plenty of the chocolates left.

That's so sweet of you to think of me.

I'm glad you're getting so much enjoyment out of such a small box. I was actually thinking about you earlier at Neukauf when I walked by the leftovers of their Christmas candy, with huge 75% off stickers on them LOL

Don't you like Christmas? If that's not a personal question

The holiday season is over for me after January 1st. I know some people drag it on and all...Lance was brought up that way. But we always took down all our decorations on Jan. 1st. That's how I was brought up, so it just feels weird to me to have the decorations up longer.

Oh no I just wondered, David (my other half) gets a bit funny around Christmas time, because as a kid when he used to get a bit over-excitable at Christmas his dad would use maybe a bit of a strong approach to calm him down, if you see what I mean. I'm slowly trying to educate him that Christmas is actually a nice time :)
