Our Reecie - she's a healthy girl.

Just had her one year check up, updated her Bordetella and had her ear looked at. Everything is good. And Miss Reece has finally gotten above the 50 pound mark. I'm glad. Because for awhile, she wasn't eating normally and her weight was stuck on 47 pounds. But I have a few tricks to get her to eat now, so she's eating like a champ and even begs for more after scarfing down her two bowls a day.

Poor dear is a bit traumatized now after the anal thermometer, but she was a good sport about it. And she got her nails trimmed while she was there. Double whammy.

But after a few treats and a game of fetch, she's good. And she hopefully won't have to see the vet again for awhile.

Good to hear that! Jodie will have to put up with two pokes at her next appointment, poor baby. She never seems to mind the thermometer that much though. Still, not looking forward to the next vet visit, the waiting room is always the most stressful part!

Well, if she would stop trying to eat curtains and blankets, anyway...and drywall. And stones and mulch.

I'm glad she is eating better. She's such a beautiful dog. When you post pictures of her sweet face, I smile so much :)
