- the classic red and white checked Better Homes & Gardens cookbook

- Good Seasons Italian dressing packet, 1/4 c. parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon garlic powder. Mix in ziploc bag. Moisten chicken. Put chicken in bag and shake until well coated. Bake.

- anything by Edgar Allan Poe

- I like the dance remix of Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall"

- I don't play any online games. I play the Mah Jongg that came with my Linux install.

- Snoqualmie Winemakers' Select Riesling or Columbia Winery's Gewurztraminer

Julia Child, Mastering the Art of French Cooking

Brown two chicken breasts in butter, then add 1/4 c.-1/2 c. tequila, 3 T. lime juice, and your favorite powdered chile (ancho, poblano, Chimayo, chipotle) to taste. Salt to taste also. Simmer until cooked through (about 15-20 minutes). Serve with refried beans, jicama salad, tortillas, and margaritas, of course!

T. S. Eliot, Four Quartets

Alison Krauss's version of "Down To The River To Pray"

High Delivery (http://www.ferryhalim.com/orisinal/g3/high.htm). Lots of other beautiful little games at this site as well.

Manciat-Poncet 2007 Macon-Charnay (a good inexpensive white burgundy). But you should really try rose wines (NOT to be confused with white zinfandels), which are getting popular again.

Do you have any rose wines to recommend? I have tried a few, as my mother favors them. I had one recently that I thought was pretty good. Wish I could remember what it was called.

- Classic roast chicken. There's so much you can do with it.

- The Raven by Poe

- Blues for Klook by Eddy Louiss

- I strongly dislike wine. I like liquor. But for non-alcoholic, tea. Iced or hot, plenty of sugar (or rather, Splenda)

I forgot all about that Smart Bitches website! I used to read it all the time (or something similar, anyway) and would laugh so hard.

- a cookbook: I'm not a big cookbook person, I have a few but none that stands out for me.

- your favorite way to cook chicken (skip this if you're vegetarian): My mom made this great chicken that involved spinach, a cheese topping and mashed sweet potatoes. I'll let you know when I get my hands on the recipe.

- a poem: -

- a song: I've been listening to Amy McDonald a lot lately, pretty much anything on her CD "This is the life"

- an online game: Hexic on Facebook

- your favorite bottle of white wine (or your favorite non-alcoholic beverage): I'm not very loyal except when it comes to bubbly which has to be Freixenet Carta Nevada Semi Seco.

- a blog/website/article/online whatever I should read: http://cakewrecks.blogspot.com/

Song: "I Went Out," Mad Tea Party

Game: Typer Shark?

White Wine: Cloudy Bay sauv blanc.
