Why This Saturday is The Suck

Two words: mandatory overtime.

I was warm, cozy and sleeping well, snuggled up with Lance and the pooch.

And then my alarm went off. Completely unnatural for a Saturday.

Four hours of slogging through paperwork. But at least I don't have to worry about phone interruptions.

Someday...hopefully soon, going to the office will mean stepping out of bed and firing up my laptop. Pajamas and slippers. Homemade chai. Hanging out with the dog. Earning a paycheck.
