Jan. 29th, 2009 07:20 pmWe got our bonuses a day early. Which is good, because I have to mail out the check to have it deposited into my account, so I can mail it out tomorrow instead of Saturday.
Had to stop at the store on the way home to pick up something for the potluck tomorrow. Didn't feel like cooking or baking anything. So I got 2 dozen cookies: a mix of chocolate chip, M&M and Snickerdoodle. Also, I had planned on making Swedish meatballs for dinner, but didn't have the patience to deal with that tonight. Especially since I was hungry. So I grabbed a box of Hamburger Helper cheesy hashbrowns to make with the ground beef I had thawed out.
It was really good. Ridiculously good. Probably not incredibly healthy, but it was filling and hit the spot.
I finished Eats, Shoots & Leaves today. Excellent, witty and hilarious. Now I need to figure out what to read next.
Poor Reecie seems to be sick again. Does anyone else have a dog who throws up a lot? Does that even seem normal? Because it seems like she's getting sick at least once a week. But after she throws up, she's completely fine.
