prosodicI'm having some issues with my internet connection and have been for days. Not sure if it's our internet provider, Linux/Firefox, or a combination of both. Lance only occasionally has problems, and not enough to annoy him to the point where he does anything about it. I can't get pictures to download most of the time, and half the time, Firefox tells me that it cannot find the address for common websites like Yahoo and Google.
I've about had it. This happens all day, everyday to my laptop. It's making it difficult for me to do anything really productive online (you know, like searching for freelancing jobs, etc, because the sites take ages to load, if they load at all).
We'll see if I'll even be able to post this.
Anyway, I was going to post about my skincare product experiments. The Avon stuff arrived a couple days ago. I'm pretty much done with the Philosophy samples, with the exception of the moisturizers.
So far, the Avon is better than the Olay I was using. It feels good as I'm washing my face. It's invigorating and refreshing, and doesn't leave my skin feeling tight afterwards like the Olay did. But I still have dry patches on my face afterwards. Nothing some moisturizer can't take care of, but the Philosophy stuff wasn't drying whatsoever. In fact, my face was softer after washing than it was before with the Philosophy.
But I haven't used the Avon long enough at this point to tell how well it'll clear up my skin or make my skin look healthier. So far...it's not bad. And it costs about what I was paying for the Olay stuff.
Anyway, I should post this and finish getting ready for work.
