I talked to one of my clients today, an office manager for a glass studio in Seattle. She mentioned that she's been out of the office a lot lately, commuting down to Tacoma to help set up a very large public art installation at the Museum of Glass.
I commented on how cool that was, and how I've been meaning to get down there to check out the museum.
She offered me free tickets for when this exhibition opens.

Date: 2009-02-28 03:18 pm (UTC)If you want me to help you find a cheap place to stay, let me know. I'm good at finding cheap hotels. Just let me know what area you're looking at staying in, and your price range. Public transportation is good, so you're not necessarily limited to just downtown.
Not sure what the job market is like in the restaurant biz here in Seattle, but it sucks everywhere else. I really hope restaurants are the exception to the rule. There are great places downtown...and maybe the best place to start is around Pike Place Market.
