It's a lazy Saturday, and the weather can't decide whether it wants to be sunny or dark and cloudy. It has decided to be chilly, however...and ridiculously windy. But I suppose that's no excuse. I should probably get Reece out for exercise of some sort today.

Lance doesn't get home until 7:30 this evening. so I have a lot of time to kill. I have linens to launder, carpet to vacuum, and I want to search around for some travel sites that take submissions. Want to start writing articles again, but I want some place to send them. I also need to read. This nonfiction about Elizabeth I and Leicester that I've been reading has been interesting, but slow-going. And I have a lot of good fiction waiting for me.

I still have another movie to watch before I have to take it back to the video store. I watched The Duchess last night and found it very intriguing, even though I wanted to beat the snot out of the Dick Duke of Devonshire. Wow...what an asshole! I didn't really know anything about the Duchess of Devonshire...she's a fascinating woman.

Well, my peaceful morning has just been interrupted by Reece barking and howling at a dog she's hearing somewhere outside. Yikes. Awful little creature. Her howl is obnoxious.

Lance is breakfasting this morning with his best friend who just happened to be in Vegas this week too. What a charming coincidence. And that's why he's coming home so late. Otherwise, he'd already be on a plane here. I think it's cool that he gets to see Marshal. Normally, they only visit once a year.

Anyway, I guess I better get to work on...something. I'm not sure where to start. Guess I should throw some sheets in the washing machine.

According to weather.com, it's already snowing in Kent. HAHAHA. Not a flake to be seen here.

I think it still needs to cool off a few degrees first. My thermometer says 39 degrees.
