One single, solitary crocus has come up in my garden. Despite all the snow we had yesterday, and the freezing temps at night. I hope it blossoms. Right now, it's just a bud.

Today was bright and sunny. Chilly, but not too bad. And with the extra daylight in the evening, I got to take Reece for a walk after dinner, and it was still light out.

Dinner was spaghetti with meat sauce (turkey Italian sausage in the sauce). Tasty and quick. I am trying to eat relatively healthy, but the jellybeans in the candy dish are preventing that from happening, and I just had 2 dark chocolate digestives (why on earth do they call them digestives?). At least those aren't so bad, as cookies/biscuits go.

Anyway...my life has been pretty boring. I'm still in pain. My left shoulder was hurting very badly this morning. I'm on flex this week, so I'm going to work an hour earlier in the morning. That's good, because it gives me at least one hour off the phones to get projects done, and there are always projects. It's good to put a dent in them.

I'm cautiously optimistic about a project that Lance is working on.

Lance just said "paradoxical". Whoa. Too late in the night for such language. HAHAHA.

You know, I've often wondered that myself. I decided to look it up on Wiki, just to see what they had to say. I thought maybe they were high in fiber or something. But Wiki tells us:

The name "digestive" derived from the belief that they had antacid properties due to the use of bicarbonate of soda when they were first developed.

Interesting.

Ah. But by that logic, there is a lot of food that could be called "digestive."
