By the way...
Mar. 15th, 2009 08:58 amIf any of you are in Seattle sometime within a year, let me know. I can get you free admission to the Space Needle.
Today is the last day that they're running their annual pass special. The pass entitles the purchaser and one guest to go to the top of the Space Needle as many as times as they want within a year. I paid less than $32 for this pass, and it's normally $16 admission per person, so already, it pays for itself with one trip.
Also - 2 free glasses of wine at the top when you use the pass for the first time. Discounts on the Sky City restaurant. And I think additional guests get in at the group discount rate.
Since Lance's mom and sister are coming out this year, I figured I better get it. Also, Lance hasn't been to downtown Seattle yet since we've moved here. Must rectify that situation ASAP and we need to go down there so he can see Pike Place Market and go up to the top of the Needle.
But first...the tulips will be blooming in La Conner within the next few weeks, so I'm really anxious to go to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, which starts April 1st. Lance will be in San Antonio for a week in April, but it might be something nice to do when he gets back. And hopefully it'll be a bit warmer. We had snow again this morning. I think it was more of a snow/freezing rain mix.
