prosodicI've had a major project going on at work since December. The deadline is Friday, and a lot of the project relied on clients getting information to me that I needed. Well, in a perfect world, that would've happened, but it didn't. Not all the clients got the information I needed, anyway. So I had to go retrieve the information myself - tedious and time consuming. But a huge chunk of the project is done now. I still have another part to do, but I can finish that by Friday. Thankfully, I had a light call schedule today, so I could really hustle on this and knock it out.
It feels good to get that done and not have to think about it anymore. The part remaining is the more tedious and time consuming of the two, but what I finished today was still a pretty significant portion of the project.
And in the lunch room, some mystery person left several dozen mint chocolate cupcakes for us to help ourselves. Soooooooo delicious.
I guess I better go over my recipe archives here on LJ. A couple of co-workers are compiling a cookbook to sell for a fundraiser, and I want to make a few contributions. I also offered my proofreading skills.
