prosodicToday was amazing. Today was one of those days that just make you feel so incredibly alive. But most days I'm traveling are like that for me.
I am madly MADLY in love with La Conner. Oh my God...could there be a place on Earth any cuter? I don't think so.
But I'm getting ahead of myself. Lance and I started the day by dropping Reece off and then going to IHOP for breakfast. Then we drove down to McChord so he could drop his dress blues off at the dry cleaner. Then we drove 2 hours up to Skagit Valley. I napped a bit in the car.
We had so much fun. The weather was wonderful - a little on the cool side, but dry and intermittently sunny.
We made it back to the Seattle area a bit earlier than expected, spent an hour or so at Borders, where we picked up several books (Lance needed a few things. I picked up a couple of bargain books and we picked up a book about the best hikes with dogs in Western Washington). Then we got Reece, stopped and picked up dinner at Long John Silver's/KFC and headed home.
Great day.
Oh, and I LOVE my new camera.
