Photo Storage
Apr. 15th, 2009 08:27 pmI need to move all my photo albums out of the Kodak Gallery website.
The reason for this is simple - they require me to make one purchase a year. I really don't feel that's necessary anymore, since I have a photo printer here at home and I generally don't buy photo gifts.
I may have to get something this time...it's a minimum $4.99 purchase in order to keep my account open. And I have such a large number of photo albums that I think it will take longer than 30 days to move them all. Mother's Day is next month anyway, so I might as well just order something for Mom, have done with it, and than gradually start moving my albums over to another photo storage site.
I also use Photobucket, but it's getting incredibly cluttered, and I would like to keep my personal and travel photos separate.
Maybe I should just open a separate Photobucket account for my travel photos, as I like them anyway.
But of course, once I move all my photos, than I also have to change all the links on my travel blog. What a huge pain in the ass this all is.
Thank you, Kodak, for making things so damned inconvenient!
For the record, I had my photo storage account with them for years before they required me to buy anything in order to keep the account open.
