I haven't been feeling particularly prolific lately, and I think I'm actually spending more time on Facebook these days than LJ. So weird, especially since I thought Facebook was kind of stupid when I first got my account. Now it's usually the first website I go to after my email.
Just not feeling the LJ love anymore, I guess. Not that I'm leaving. I still need a place to blog on occasion, when the mood suits me, but I've noticed a sharp decline in my posts as of late. And I still love reading my friends list and seeing what all of you are up to.
My decline in posts is probably due to the fact that I don't really have anything new to say. And I've managed to catch up with so many friends on Facebook, which is why I'm spending so much time there. I'm back in touch with grad school friends again. Friends from my life in Germany. Family scattered all over. Facebook is how I met my friend Lisa here in Seattle, and now I have another cool person with whom to do cool stuff.
I haven't jumped on the Twitter bandwagon yet, but it will only be a matter of time. It seems rather pointless for me to join right now anyway, considering my lack of anything interesting to say.
As for my offline life, nothing of note is going on. I just started a new book this morning - Farewell, My Queen by Chantal Thomas - which is a bit slow to get going, I think. And it didn't rain today. Otherwise, it's just the same old thing, different day. Oh, and I cried at my desk today, but that's also becoming something of a daily occurance too, which should surprise no one.
