Shakespeare in the Park
Jun. 14th, 2009 09:48 amI just checked out the Seattle Shakespeare Company's schedule for this summer, since they do free performances in various parks around the Seattle area...
They're doing The Taming of the Shrew in Volunteer Park on July 12th! Woot!
So Lisa and I are going to go and take a picnic.
They're doing the same performance at Angle Lake Park in Sea-Tac the following Friday, so I may go see it again.
The other play this summer is Richard III, not one of my favorites.
I checked The Actors' Theatre of Columbus for when we're in Ohio and they're doing a free performance of The Tempest while we're there. I would really love to see that as well, but I don't think I can convince anyone in my family to go with me.
Oh, I love me some Shakespeare, especially when it's free!
