50 Things to Do Before You Die
Jun. 15th, 2009 08:02 amI am reading Matador Travel's 50 Things to Do Before You Die.
I've done #15, #32 (went from Geilenkirchen to Garmisch on a train - pretty much all the way across the country from north to south, west to east), #39, #42 (Shakespeare's grave, Beethoven's birthplace, and several others).
4 out of 50. Wow.
I would add another one to this list: Carnival - either in Rio de Janeiro or Venice, which are 2 of the world's largest celebrations. If that we added to the list, I would then have 5.

Date: 2009-06-15 05:08 pm (UTC)Do you have a desire to do all 50? or do you have another list of your own? (Some people call it a bucket list, I prefer "Mighty Life List" after this post: http://mightygirl.com/2008/03/03/100-things-to-do-before-i-go/)

I also hate huge crowds, but I'm not sorry to have witnessed carnival in Venice. I am sorry, however, to have gone to Oktoberfest. And at least I have stories to tell about those experiences.
