Jun. 25th, 2009 12:13 pmI am amused that I had a Twitter conversation with @groceryoutlet regarding what I purchased in their store yesterday. Random. I just tweeted that I bought some stuff from them for a cheese platter and they tweeted back, asking what I bought. So I tweeted back with my shopping list and they responded that it sounded like a great spread and they'll keep it in mind for future parties. HAHA. Weird.
It's FREEZING here. The outside thermometer reads 61.7 degrees, which wouldn't be so terrible if it was sunny and not breezy. AND IF IT WASN'T LATE JUNE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. I am actually looking forward to basking in the boiling hot temperatures in Ohio next week. I can get pretty miserable if the heat is excessive, but I would still so much rather be hot than cold. I hate the feeling of being cold above everything else. Probably because it's so much more difficult for me to warm up than it is to cool down. Lance is exactly the opposite from me. He loves this current weather and kind of dreads having to deal with the Ohio weather next week.
Oh wait...it's now 62.6 degrees...PROGRESS!
Anyway, I have a bit of writing to finish up this afternoon and submit. And I should probably try and get the dog out for a walk (without locking myself out of the house this time). She didn't get enough exercise yesterday and she was super restless last night. I think she got me up 3 times and got Lance up once, and two of those times was for no apparent reason. She used to do that a lot, but hasn't done it in a long time. So I hope this isn't going to be a habit.
And I have to plug in the address for the party tonight into my GPS. No idea where this place is...I think it's somewhere in the Renton Highlands.
