prosodicI'm so tired. It was about 87 degrees in the house when we went to bed (it didn't even get below 90 outside until almost 10 pm), so neither of us slept well. Lance actually moved out into the living room sometime during the night. I was ok on the bed under the ceiling fan. Reece found a spot on her little IKEA loveseat under the other ceiling fan in the house.
It's supposed to be about 100 again today. Reece is at Petsmart again, although we couldn't get her into camp. She'll be kenneled most of the day, but at least she'll be somewhere cool. I'm trying to figure out where to go today. I may try the Kent library and see if the wireless Internet is any better there. I think I'm ok to hang out here at the house until after lunch. It's only 79 degrees outside right now.
I still have some stuff to do to get ready for SIL's visit tomorrow. I'm going to get on that right now. Most of it will have to wait until tomorrow. It's supposed to be cooler by 15-20 degrees tomorrow - still very warm for Seattle, but it will feel like a break after the temperatures we've had.
I would dearly love to take a nap. But I still have 3 hours of writing ahead of me today too and I need to work on that this morning.
