Aug. 9th, 2009 03:33 pmI've been downloading A LOT of stuff lately. I think my hard drive is going to hate me soon, if it doesn't already.
Luckily, I have resolved this issue by buying a 16 GB flash drive today. Woot! So now I can declutter my hard drive! YAY!
So...Lance and I ran our big errand today. Grocery shopping is done. And I found a cookbook I *almost* bought, but I just looked it up and the library has it, so I'm checking it out and copying the recipes that I want. I've decided to stop buying cookbooks for the time being because I never try more than a handful of recipes in them anyway. Better to get them at the library and copy the ones I think I'll use and save myself the money.
After we got back from the store, I ran down to the Auburn Produce Market. I don't buy produce at the commissary anymore because it's almost always overripe or even moldy. The only thing I get there anymore is tomatoes and maybe the packaged baby carrots. I'll go to the Auburn Produce Market from now on. I got a cantaloupe, 2 nectarines and 2 apples for about $3.00. I think that is incredibly cheap (I think I saw cantaloupe at Top the other day for $2.49 each...here, they were $1).
I need to vacuum and then start moving things off my hard drive. And I have some business stuff to take care of too.
It's a really nice day. I think we'll be eating dinner outside tonight, which is great, because I don't think we've actually sat at our patio table since June.
