Possessed?

I think all our electronics are possessed.

First, the GPS comes on by itself and tells us that we have reached our destination.

Two of our 4 DirecTV boxes now no longer work.

And I downloaded a movie clip onto my flash drive, which has inexplicably disappeared (the movie clip, not the flash drive). And I searched for it on my hard drive, just in case I accidentally downloaded it there instead, and it's not on there either. And I *KNOW* I downloaded it. It started playing when it was finished, but I closed it because I wasn't ready to watch it yet. I tried to watch it within 5 minutes after the download finished and *poof*...GONE!

So now I'm downloading it again. And I'll probably end up with 2 copies.

WTF is going on?

It must be going around - 3 days in a row last week I came home to discover the stereo upstairs was on. FREAKED ME OUT. Alarm was on, house locked up, but I still had to go thru every room...anyhow, I think maybe a neighbor must have a remote that sets off my stereo too! I just leave it unplugged now.

But your GPS cracks me up.

Yes, I think the GPS is giving me ideas for a fabulous horror novel.

It turns on by itself and announces in a menacing voice, "turn around when possible."

And then you turn around, and a monster is standing there with a meat cleaver, or something.

And then the GPS cackles.
