prosodicDate night is pretty much over.
We had a nice dinner at Amante, although neither Lance nor I were able to finish our food. I got my usual tortellini special and he got a 4 cheese pizza. We stopped at Cold Stone for ice cream. I got the butterscotch velvet again. It is THE BEST ice cream I've ever had. No kidding. It's only a limited-time flavor though, sadly. The butterscotch pudding ice cream actually tastes like butterscotch pudding. And heath bar, Reese's cups, and chocolate syrup swirled in. Oh my God.
But I felt sick after dinner. Too much rich food, I think.
We watched W. and it was hilarious. There are so many great one-liners in that film. Most of them are actual Dubya quotes too, which is what makes it even better. It's one of those movies that we'll only watch once though.
Anyway...today was mostly uneventful aside from this. Reece and I went on a 2-mile or so walk today. Invigorating.
Lance is trying to get me to go work out with him this coming week. He's absolutely hooked on this Crossfit thing. And that's great. I don't mind him getting hooked on the exercise (although I have to wonder about the commute to the gym and the cost). But I personally don't think this workout is for me. He already talked to his trainer and she wants to meet me. So I'll go...under protest. I would rather do my own thing. I love spinning, and if we're going to shell out money for me to get a gym membership, I'm going to go somewhere where I can spin. He says he really wants me to do this, but I keep pointing out to him that I tried to get him to go to spinning class with me and he refused. I know what exercise works for me and I want to stick with that. If we can afford for me to go back and do spinning classes regularly again, I will gladly do so.
Tomorrow is my self-imposed Internet-free day. I'm still thinking of all the different things I can do to fill my day, and I'm sure I'll figure it out. There's plenty to do.
