Nov. 27th, 2009 08:29 pmI am listening to the live radio broadcast of Pacific Northwest Ballet's "The Nutcracker." It's amazing, but also frustrating, because I would rather be there watching it in person. I'm only getting half of the magic. To imagine what it's like, I have to watch videos of "The Nutcracker: The Motion Picture" on YouTube, which was made by the Pacific Northwest Ballet in 1986. It has the same costumes and set as the current production, which was designed by Maurice Sendak. I guess it's the next best thing.
And because I have nothing else to do while I'm listening to this, I redecorated my LJ with a winter theme.
It's intermission right now, and time to get a snack, I guess.
