I made spaghetti carbonara for dinner.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Bacon.
By the way, my Rice Krispie treats turned out amazingly, insanely delicious. This will now be my go-to recipe.

I made polenta and fried eggs and bacon last night for dinner just because I wanted bacon LOL

Well, this wasn't the most authentic carbonara (there were no eggs in it, for one thing), but it was still pretty tasty.

Yummy! I had some in Rome and wanted to take off my clothes and roll around in them. It's a heart attack on a plate, but what a way to go!

Mine wasn't as good as what I've had in Italian restaurants in Europe, but it was fairly reminiscent of that.
That was always my favorite dish to order. It sucks that restaurants here don't serve it, but they're too paranoid about salmonella.

Everything is better with bacon. It's just a fact.

True, true.
I think I could almost give up any other meat (with the exception of turkey on Thanksgiving), but I could never give up bacon.
