faith in humanity
Dec. 9th, 2009 02:07 pmMost days, I find it difficult to have any faith in humanity.
But today is not one of those days.
I read on
seattle that all Seattle area Papa John's have run out of product. The OP called 2 different locations, and the manager at one of the locations said every Seattle store was out of product. Comments indicated that some people waited up to 4.5 hours for pizza delivery yesterday and that Papa John's eventually had to take their phone off the hook because they couldn't keep up with demand.
Why is this a good thing?
Most, if not all, Papa John's locations in the Seattle/Tacoma/South Sound region were donating 100% of their profits from yesterday and today to the families of the fallen Lakewood police officers. That's why there was the demand. That's why they ran out of product. Think about how much profit that is worth...I'm sure that's a very significant donation.
And I'm willing to bet that it's not just the Seattle locations that are now out of product.
Dear Seattle: you done good. Mad props, of course, also go to Papa John's.
