Seeing my article online was pretty exciting.

Seeing it in print? Wow. And it was on the front page of the NWjobs section (I had kind of expected it to be buried in the back). It's the first thing people see (well technically, the first thing they'll notice is the photo that accompanies it).

Mind. Blown.

Actually, I just looked through the entire section and it's only 4 pages anyway. And most of that is advertising. So I guess it was inevitable it would be on the front page. HAHA. ;)

It is. It's been a long time since I've seen my writing in print - not since I lived in Germany.

And I remember how thrilling it was to be sitting in the waiting room at the base clinic, watching someone read my article about carnival in Venice. I think this article probably has a much wider audience.
