Woot!!

I remembered seeing that the Tacoma Museum of Glass had one Thursday each month where they stayed open later and admission was free after 5 pm.

It just so happens to be this Thursday. My job interview in Tacoma is at 3. It should last an hour or so...then I can hang out at a coffee shop or something for an hour and then go to the museum.

Sweet!!

I must admit...the thought of working in downtown Tacoma seems pretty tempting. Especially in that particular area...near the waterfront and close to the UW-Tacoma campus. A wide variety of places to eat and things to do in the area...nice walks to take on lunch breaks...

Won't be LJing or Facebooking much today. Got a freelance project to work on. This is a very good thing.

I'm irritated, because I had planned to spend a good portion of my day working on this freelance project. And then the damn phone kept ringing off the hook and there were constant distractions and interruptions.

Geez...days...even weeks, go by without phone calls or other important matters to attend to. But as soon as I'm busy...

I managed just over 3 hours of work today. And now with this latest drama going on (posted friends only, of course), I don't even have my wits about me at the moment to try and focus on this any more.

What an incredible disappointment. I'm hoping tomorrow will be a bit less chaotic.

Know what else I find irritating? That Lance is down in Oklahoma City doing hardly a damn thing at all this week. He's not too happy about it either. He hates it there...he's never been so bored in his life. I'm just angry that he could actually be up here making himself useful around the office, and being with me. But he is down there instead. At least some guys from his unit are down there this week, so he has people to hang out with. He's out having dinner with them right now.

Crap

I'm not alone in this house.

It appears that we are on the verge of having a serious ant problem.

We had huge issues with this in Germany, and I really don't feel like dealing with this right now.

And I really don't want to spray poisons around my house. I need a friendlier/healthier way to get rid of this problem.
