I have a free one-week pass to 24 Hour Fitness. I also have 2 free day passes, but I'm not sure if they would let me use those in addition to the week pass.

So tomorrow I am going to spinning. Or their equivalent of it anyway. They call it 24Cycle or something like that.

I'm debating whether or not I am going to join a gym. I've been wanting to, but I also won't have nearly as much time as I used to have. After fighting traffic, I'll be home around 5:45-6pm each evening, and then I'll want dinner immediately and relax for the rest of the night. If I do a workout at all, it will have to be in the morning, and I'm not sure I could get up extra early and drag myself to a gym. It wouldn't be every morning, at least, but probably 2-3 mornings a week.

Plus we'll have a dog soon, and she'll need to be walked at least once a day anyway, and that's already exercise.

Anyway, I'll check it out. If I think I could manage to squeeze in a gym workout a few times a week, it might be worth it. It just takes extra time for the drive to the gym, as opposed to just working out at home. I just wish I could jog instead. It would be so much cheaper and easier. But my asthma and my sore knees prevent it.

It's also going to be tricky squeezing in the other things in life: household chores, reading, writing, home projects. It'll take me awhile to find some balance, I think.

What's up with the crazy weather today?

Snow north of Seattle. Snow and hail in downtown Seattle (during the Mariners game too...hehe). Lightning and thunder here in Kent (which is extremely rare in this area anyway).

Is the apocalypse coming or something?

Made my DirecTV go out again. It's back now though, and I think the hail finally stopped.
