Reece had to go out at 11:30 last night. That's all good and fine. She usually has to go out once or twice.

It wasn't difficult getting her back inside, unlike the night before, where I had to venture out in the rain at 2 am to get her.

However, we were going back to sleep, and I was just on the verge of drifting off, when she sat bolt upright on her bed and started howling and barking.

I couldn't hear a thing. Whatever was bothering her was coming from outside our bedroom, so I opened up the door and she made a beeline for the front door.

There was no one there. Not a thing. And it was quiet as could be.

I got her calmed down and we tried to go back to sleep again. But hearing a damsel fly fluttering against the wall distracted her yet again, so I had to get up and take care of that. Then after we settled down again, she continued to growl at any little noise.

Needless to say, I'll be needing a latte this morning.

The window man came out to measure the windows. He didn't stay as long as we were told he would be here. It was half an hour, and we were told to allow 2 hours.

Anyway, they're estimating that it'll take 6 weeks to get our windows. In the meantime, I guess we'll just have to put up with the chilly drafts. At least this weekend is supposed to be pretty nice.

Having nothing to scrape together for dinner, we ordered pasta from Pizza Hut. Lance ordered the bacon macaroni and cheese...it came with free breadsticks and he ordered the Hershey's chocolate dipper things too. All pretty good.

Although I was already feeling pretty bloated and icky before dinner. Now, I'll probably feel even worse.

Just glad it's the weekend. I'm getting out my fall decorations tomorrow and I'll be putting leaf garlands and orange lights around the fireplace.

Oh my God...what?

I only just saw the trailer for this now. I had to double-check the alcohol content on this beer I'm drinking to make sure I wasn't drunk.
