...yeah, not so much.

Apparently, we had two earthquakes this morning, about 40 miles northwest of here. Each measured about 4.5 on the Richter Scale.

That means we should have felt something here.

But I guess we slept right through them.

One earthquake was confirmed here this morning. Lance got emails about 2. But since the news is only saying there was one, I guess there was only one.

Doesn't matter. We missed it. But that explains Reece's weirdness last night.

Anyway...

Had a Super Bowl party at work today. It was a potluck, but Famous Dave's was catered in as well. So we had pulled pork sandwiches, buffalo wings and ribs. Good stuff. I was completely stuffed afterwards. And I only ate half a pulled pork sandwich and 2 buffalo wings. I had a little coleslaw and a little pasta salad. That was it, but it was enough. Oh, and dessert.

Had a bit of an issue this morning with Petsmart, but it was rectified. I made a reservation for Doggie Daycamp for today, and when I showed up with Reece this morning, they had no record of my reservation and they were full up for day camp. So I had to put her in day care, which is completely different (camp is an entire day of group play, day care is basically sitting in the kennel all day with a brief period of group play). But they had a cancellation or they squeezed her in anyway, so all was fine. I arrived to pick her up and was told that she had spent the day in day camp. I was pretty pissed off this morning though. Lance says if it happens again, we'll stop taking Reece there, but she loves it so much.

Speaking of Reece, I am now sipping from my bottle of customized wine that I named after her. It's the last bottle of wine in the house. Guess I better pick up some more tomorrow.

Ok. Pizza Hut's pasta is okay and all. I mean, Lance and I order it every once in awhile if it's been a long day and I don't feel like cooking. The bacon mac & cheese is pretty good.

But it DOES NOT taste like authentic Italian food.

Who do they think they're fooling with their new commercial? They actually went to Italy and had Italian people try their pasta and declare that it tastes like Mom's?

Bullshit.

Their new commercial kind of ticks me off. I mean, that's like taking Olive Garden to Italians and having them declare that it tastes like Grandma's cooking. NOT GONNA HAPPEN. Olive Garden is not authentic, and neither is Pizza Hut, for damn sure.

I mean, they serve their purpose, and they're good. But they are NOT authentic Italian.
