LOL!

I love Get Fuzzy so much.

In other news, I made a really damn good vanilla latte this morning, which I'm drinking with graham cracker sandwiches. What are graham cracker sandwiches, you wonder? Well, it's strawberry cream cheese sandwiched between 2 graham cracker halves.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm. Breakfast.

Lance couldn't resist it either.

If any of you are in Seattle sometime within a year, let me know. I can get you free admission to the Space Needle.

Today is the last day that they're running their annual pass special. The pass entitles the purchaser and one guest to go to the top of the Space Needle as many as times as they want within a year. I paid less than $32 for this pass, and it's normally $16 admission per person, so already, it pays for itself with one trip.

Also - 2 free glasses of wine at the top when you use the pass for the first time. Discounts on the Sky City restaurant. And I think additional guests get in at the group discount rate.

Since Lance's mom and sister are coming out this year, I figured I better get it. Also, Lance hasn't been to downtown Seattle yet since we've moved here. Must rectify that situation ASAP and we need to go down there so he can see Pike Place Market and go up to the top of the Needle.

But first...the tulips will be blooming in La Conner within the next few weeks, so I'm really anxious to go to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, which starts April 1st. Lance will be in San Antonio for a week in April, but it might be something nice to do when he gets back. And hopefully it'll be a bit warmer. We had snow again this morning. I think it was more of a snow/freezing rain mix.

It's been a really nasty weekend, between our crazy weather (we woke up to snow, then had really cold rain, then sun, then hail and rain again, and now wind) and me just feeling run down and headachy, and just generally not having energy to do much of anything.

But we finished our grocery shopping today. We went down, grabbed lunch on the base, made a quick stop into the BX so Lance could get some t-shirts (and we also bought a box of Fran's salted caramels, despite their expense, because Kathy said I just had to try them...so unusual and exquisite are they). I also stopped by the Pampered Chef kiosk because they have a new dip mix that reminds me of the bruschetta dip mix I used to buy at either Oil & Vinegar or Xenos. I bought the last jar of it that she had. That dip mix used to be a staple for me in Germany...I hope this Pampered Chef stuff tastes similar.

Oh my God...I saw the cutest laptop in the world at the BX today. It was only $400 and now I wish I had waited and got that instead of the one I have now. It's so tiny and it has its own carrying handle. And it only weighs 3 pounds. Mine is very lightweight too, which is why I got it (that, and it was an incredible deal)...but this is just so much more compact. *sigh* But my laptop is perfectly fine. And I still need a new camera. And I covet the i-Pod Touch.

Anyway, we're home and in for the rest of the day. Groceries are put away. Laundry is going and I still need to vacuum. I'm just sitting here with some lemon tea and trying to stay calm. I'm so very depressed and upset about tomorrow.
