Woohoo!

I have an extra $21 on my paycheck! That's more than I was expecting. I know that federal withholding has gone down and I've discussed this several times already with my clients, who are curious about the new tax tables. But I gave little thought to how it would affect my own check, and now I know.

So that extra money can help...a little more in my savings or IRA. A little more paid toward our debt. It's all good.

Today I'm having lunch with one of my former co-workers. It'll be good to see her again. We're going to Baja Fresh.

Today is also a good day to get caught up on projects at work. I have one phone call scheduled for today. That's it. Just one. For payroll anyway. I have a conference call this morning with one of my clients, but that's about another matter entirely.

I got an interesting prospect in my email this morning...just the sort of opportunity that I've been waiting for. I'll look into it a little more tonight. Yeah, cryptic, I know.

Boring Updatey Stuff

This has been a tedious week at work, but I got a huge amount accomplished today - projects that I've been working on since December. Finally done! YAY! I actually feel somewhat in control now, which is a feeling I haven't had in a long time.

I had lunch at Baja Fresh today. Mahi Mahi tacos...yum! I met a former co-worker and I brought a current co-worker with me. We had a good time. Got caught up.

I have a doc appointment next Wednesday. I need a scrip refilled and they offered only to refill it for a month - I have to go in for an overdue checkup to get another refill. But I get out of work early on Wednesday, so whatever.

Right now, I am watching Being Erica and Reece is staring at me, hoping that I'll play with her. But I'm getting ready to pop into the shower here in a bit.
