May. 4th, 2009 06:35 pmI swear, the next 6 weeks will be the slowest of my life.
But at least I got in a walk today at lunch, before the weather went to crap. It was actually pleasant out until this afternoon. We have a nasty storm brewing.
I had to stop by the grocery store on the way home, and you'd swear we had an apocalypse upon us. It was insanely crowded. But I needed bean dip for our Cinco de Mayo potluck tomorrow, and we needed milk. I also had nothing ready for dinner at home, and I was exhausted. So I picked up a Stouffer's Easy Express meal - cheese manicotti. Less than 20 minutes later, it was out of the microwave (enough time to bake some garlic bread), and dinner was served. It was actually really good.
I have all kinds of PTO piled up - 47 hours of vacation...5 days of floating holiday... I need to use some! So I requested time off from the 18th-20th. I won't spend it being lazy. I'll have a lot to do to get this business venture of mine going. But I need to relax too. I'm feeling burned out.
