Aug. 29th, 2009 12:11 pmWe're going to Everett/Mukilteo this weekend, and Lance asked me last night whether I wanted to do that today or tomorrow. Tomorrow is supposed to be nicer, weather-wise. I told him I would rather go today, but he talked me into waiting.
I'm kind of sorry I agreed to wait.
I like going to the sea when it's dark and rainy (and it wasn't too rainy this morning...it was just right). To me, it makes it even more magical and alive. Sure, it's great on a warm, sunny day too. But to be at the shore, looking out at the churning waves and watching dark clouds roll across the sky - I just like that better. And that's what we would've had this morning, had we gone today.
I'm sure we'll still have a good time tomorrow. And visibility might be better anyway. You can see Whidbey and Camano Islands from there. And Reece will enjoy herself more. She's coming along too.
