For the 3rd time, our GPS sprang to life on its own. This time it declared, "after 45 yards, you have reached your destination."

I'm starting to get a little freaked out.

This happened last night. I was in the bedroom studying. Lance was in the living room. I thought maybe he grabbed the GPS for some reason and was downloading updates or plugging in new coordinates. But his "WTF?" exclamation indicated otherwise.

Anyway...it's a fairly quiet weekend. Lance and I did our grocery shopping yesterday. When we got home, the OSU game had already started, but even though we killed the Wisconsin Badgers, the game (other than a 96 yard touchdown we scored) wasn't very exciting. I fell asleep during 4th quarter. I was really tired.

When I woke up, I made a pot of chili. Lance took Reece out for a 2 mile walk while the chili was simmering on the stove.

And then after dinner, I did some studying. And that was yesterday.

Today, we're pretty much hanging out at home. Lance will watch the Vikings and Twins games. I still have more homework to do and some housework. Not a very exciting day.

I'm really looking forward to next weekend.

I have never NEVER felt like punching someone in the face more than I do right now.

I just got back from taking Reece on a walk. We had barely started our walk, when a car pulled up alongside me and I heard a man's voice say, "Excuse me?"

I looked over at his car. He had what I assume to be his wife and 2 kids in the vehicle. So I thought he was going to ask me for directions or something.

But no. He looked at me and asked, "Have you seen any little n-ggers running around here?"

After several seconds of gaping at him in shock, horror, disgust and incredulity, I finally said "no", and he drove off. And I told the rear end of his vehicle that he is an asshole.

What I should have said was, "Maybe you should look for them in 1860, when words like that were still socially acceptable."

I am so angry. SO ANGRY. And it ruined my whole walk. Up until some cute little kids and their parents (grandparents?) came by and stopped to pet Reece.
