This is what I get to see whenever I look out my front windows.

The tree started developing buds a long time ago...long before winter was ever finished with Germany. I had been waiting for the buds to open, and they only started to last week. Already, the leaves are popping out, so I thought I should photograph the tree before the blossoms completely disappear.

I won't like this tree so much in the fall, when it dumps a huge pile of leaves all over our front yard and driveway, but for now, it's the most pleasant and beautiful looking thing in our yard.

No clue, but I looked it up, and it looks like that's what it could be.

Those are my favorite spring trees... along with everyone else, I'm not sure the exact name. Oh, but the deep pinks fading into white make me so happy.

Such a beautiful tree. My grandfather had one just like that in his backyard. Whenever I see them, it reminds me of spring spent at his house.

It's some sort of Magnolia... They are so beautiful. There's one around the corner from us and it's pink instead of white and it's so vibrant. Unfortunately, the blooms are so short lived. :(

Yeah. We've already lost most of the blooms. I think I photographed it at its peak.

How pretty!

I'm Hatsumomo from BellaOnline, BTW. I post mostly in the Married No Kids forum.

Hello! Yes, I saw your most recent post in there, and I was just checking out your journal. I can't help but think how much you have in common with my stepsister, [livejournal.com profile] luckysushi, in terms of your love for Japanese culture.

Oh, that's cool! Actually, I'm in Japan right now for a semester. It's a university exchange program I'm doing in Nagoya.

May I add you?

OMG, I just went to your stepsister's LJ and she went to the same university in Japan that I'm at now! How ironic.
